He has extensive working experience in institutional strengthening and capacity building in sectors related to education, skills development and training, youth employment and placement services. He has contributed to projects funded by important donors such as the European Union and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation. He has successful track record of designing and delivering quality large-scale multilateral projects in line with policy objectives and stakeholder needs. Nikolay is an education specialist with practical knowledge of vocational education and training development trends and is certified in international TVET consultancy by the Swiss Federal Institute for VET.

For more than 20 years Georgi has been successfully implementing advisory service assignments for key international donors such as the World Bank, EBRD, EU, DFID, as well as for various Bulgarian Ministries and local authorities.

Georgi’s career entails broad international practice with focus on capacity building, financial analysis, environmental and sustainability policy development and analysis. He conducted various assignments in several countries, i.e., Ukraine, Russia, Georgia, Jordan, Egypt, Senegal, as well as developed business opportunities in the UK, Poland, Romania, Tajikistan, Western Balkans, Mauritius and others.
Georgi has in-depth knowledge and practical skills in business development, staff development and project cycle management. He is also mentoring inspiring young talents in their pursuit for personal and professional development.
